![]() On a real machine running Windows and an emulator, you have one level of emulation going on. Intended to emulate only the Amiga 500, the most popular model, but to do it well enough to run most demoscene apps. Since virtual machines do not get direct access to the hardware devices of the host system, the virtual machine sound card emulation has to be done in part by another layer of software. If youre just trying to run an Amiga game, this is a good spot to start. WinUAE: Much, much more capable, but much more complex. Can emulate any Amiga ever released, if you can get the ROM files and disk images. This could add latency depending on the load in the virtual machine and/or on the Mac OS host. ![]()
